"Old, established, closely-watched revival neighborhood with many long-time residents and an active neighborhood association the president of which lives directly across the street. Very walkable neighborhood where people know and communicate with each other and keep a hawk's eye on the properties around them. The convenience can hardly be overstated: a short block from Booker T Washington High School, walkable to John F Kennedy Middle School, and not far from Herndon Elementary School; walking distance from Washington Park and tennis courts, University Park, Morehouse School of Religion, Clark Atlanta U and the Clark Atlanta Stadium, the ITC, Morris Brown, Spellman; not far from the Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, Centennial Park, and Georgia State University."
