"The Redwood Road neighborhood of Fairfax is a wonderful place to live. We have been here for over 15 years and love it! We have raised our daughter here and also have two pets (a dog and a a cat) and it is an excellent place for kids and pets. There is also plenty of beautiful open space nearby where you can hike, bike, or just picnic. Mt Tam is nearby, as are the local lakes which provide even more hiking possibilities. Downtown fairfax is a mere one mile walk down the hill. Fairfax is a great little town with lots of local businesses. The folks in this area are very friendly and helpful, and the schools are excellent. m Fairfax is one of those places that still has the flavor of Marin from 'back in the day' when it wasn't so expensive and built up.
