It use to be very family oriented now it’s like a prison, kids can’t run, talk to each other, move from their lines or even say, hi! to their own siblings. I witnessed it multiple times and My daughter requested to change her from school, she said she was very unhappy because they treat them like they are in jail. This year she’s in a new school and she’s is very happy. I wasn’t the only parent that seen it and witnessed it. Multiple complaints were taken to the top. I wished… the last principle never left the school, Mrs. Craver is one of the best principals. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet me start off by telling how this school is a joke even the staff at this school. My daughter got sexual assaulted by a boy in 7th grade and they just let slid under the rug. Now is in 8th grade and the same boy sexual assaulted her again. I asked then what they are going to do this time about what happened to my daughter! The said the boy is going to get Quants equances and they both will sign Agreement that they won't look at each other and can't be around each other. But just last Wednesday by daughter got dragged by the same boy across the grass. She has bruises on her butt and starches on her back from him. But once again the staff can say that this boy is get big quantities equances. This boy is still at the school.. would you want your kids going to this school? 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a newer and very big school. It has an amazing sports facility with more than 1 feild. Its actually a very nice facility. There are some good teachers, but I haven't seen anyone really great. There are a few counsilers that go above and beyond, but I don't think they receive much support from the principal. They also don't hold these kids responsible for their actions. There seems to be no enforcement of attendance and no structure for discipline problems. I have tried to become involed or volunteer my time or anything and haven't received a response at all. The student body seems to ditch class very often and they all hang out at the park down the street. No one does anything about it. We are moving our student to a different high school. It's a shame, it's a beautiful facility, the school of business is great. But it stops there, the sports teams aren't very good. Attendance is horrible, drugs are everywhere, and all the staff blame others, if they care at all. Maybe a new principal and some intervention from the district would help. It has such potential. We are completely disapointed and our time here was a waste. The drop out rate for this school is climbing. I'm stunned that no one sees this and intervenes. I plan to write a letter to the district, but I don't think it will matter. "people sometimes wave to each other. Its pretty nice. not always though sometimes they might be looking the other way and not see you wave so they don't wave back....then you're just standing there waving like some sort of clown that can only say hello by waving to people and they're not sure of the clown. But sometimes. I get a wave back and oh man does it make my week!"

"Very safe, good neighbors, has nearby stores/restaraunts, is very clean. Traffic is kind of bad in this area though. Good community for children! plenty of schools around. upcoming Rtd lightrail! thats kind of cool! Close to denver, boulder and not too far from fort collins! its all and all a good area to be in "
