"I have lived here for 7 years. It’s very convenient being less than 7 miles from Center City, couple miles from Manayunk and 15 minutes from Chestnut Hill. There is a lot of diversity with Jefferson U, retired folks, young families and everyone in between. We border the Wissahickon park and have lovely McMichael park in the center of the area. Lots to like in East Falls!"

"Although it's main calling card is its leafy streets in close proximity to Center City, there's a nice community feel with safe, welcoming streets. A nice mix of families and older empty nesters, there is a mini main street and proximity to My. Airy & Chestnut Hill"

"East Falls is a lovely area with housing at all price points. The neighborhood has young families, single professionals, and older residents. The East Falls Village, which allows the elderly to “age in place,” makes it especially inviting to seniors."

"East Falls is a wonderful neighborhood that feels like a wonderful mix of urban and suburban despite still being within the city's limits. Hiking in Wissahickon and the bustle of downtown are both within a 10 minute drive. There is plenty to do in our little neighborhood and the people are very friendly. "

"Plenty of community events all year round, with the most recent one being the Winter Interlude fundraiser for the library! In the spring/summer there's a farmer's market and fairs. Also plenty of opportunities to get involves with the community! There's a neighborhood local newspaper that one can receive to stay up to date with all the activities & meetings."

I can also only speak from our own experiences, but our neighbors are super friendly and truly look out for one another. We feel very fortunate, happy, and grateful to be part of this neighborhood! "
