"Fairly safe, not much community feel even for holidays. Very few people put up decorations. People on streets don’t tend to say hi or respond when you say hello. They look at you weirdly if you do so typically."

"Going into the city any time after 7 is a nightmare, regardless of taking 101 or 280. With my work I try to leave by 6 to avoid traffic and getting to work in time. RIP Harambe"

"Great place to raise a family. Great schools, great downtown and proximity to airport and Silicon Valley. Top five zip code in the country. Plethora of parks, nearby hiking places and water sports. Cost of living is high but no other negative aspect at all. "

"old, harsh, mechanical people who you couldn't be comfortable between them. they are not felexible with young people. no one of their children live around here too. I mean many people grew up here but almost all of them left burlingame. "

"Freeway is a nightmare no matter which direction you go. There is ALWAYS traffic between Burlingame and Redwood City. But the train is easy to get to, and BART is a short drive. Both are a lot more pleasant than dealing with traffic!"

"Roads are narrow, sometimes single lane, with no shoulder and no way to get off the road in places due to bridges and rock walls. dangerous to walk on especially at night or during morning and evening commute. "

"Annual block parties, high walkscore, great community center with tennis courts, boche ball courts, basketball courts & baseball fields, all of which are in wonderful condition.
