"Monona is a friendly city with very easy access to downtown Madison. Located on a lake, it is insulated from the problems of big city life. Full of great parks, Monona is a great place for kids and pets, yet has plenty of outdoor activities to appeal to couples, retirees and singles."

"Monona is Dane County's best kept secret. It has everything you could imagine. My favorite area is by Aldo Leopold Nature Center. I have seen some new urban homes under construction to make the area even nicer. It is close to everything you need and all the parks and water you could want."

"The Homes on Femrite are transforming this neighborhood in Monona. This area is truly new urban with its parks, Aldo Leopold Nature Center, walkable retail including coffee shops, groceries, fitness centers, Meriter and UW clinics, restaurants and even a wine bar. The neighborhood has delightful diversity with seniors, singles, families from all walks of life. If you are looking for REAL New Urbanism and not a corn field FAKE community you must drive through the Femrite area off Monona Drive. "
