"Every socio-economic level is represented. Don't know what else to say, that pretty much sums it up."
- Derek W.

"I have toured this building, condos are great unfortunately the neighborhood is filled with tremendous amount of tents lining the sidewalk. Sad but true."
- Trulia User

"I've lived in this neighborhood for over 7 years. It is a great walkable neighborhood with everything you need within walking or riding Trimet or streetcar. There are many parks in the neighborhood also, even a dog park. Also many restaurants, stores, coffee shops and so much more."
- Jd R.

"the amount of homeless tents does not allow for a lot of area for dogs there are a few parts but none specifically for dogs in my area"
- Bruce R.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"I've lived in Old Town for about 9 years now, for sure don't recommend it for children. The violence in the area has increased over the last five years, it's very sad and the city doesn't seem to really want to focus on any of the problems surrounding the area. For downtown, probably not the best area to raise a family."
- Sarah S.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"There's a lot of negative things that can be said about Chinatown... Yes, there's crime, drugs, abject poverty, and a sense of abandonment from the city government. BUT, I love my home, I love my neighbors, I love the businesses and art. It takes strength of character to live here long term, but if you've got the guts, it's absolutely worth it. "
- Emily S.

"Generally a lot of homeless people on the streets but close to transport and lots of art galleries jjjjj"
