"I drive to work takes about 16 minutes to get there. Traffic is a little heavy when the school year is going. Otherwise it will take only 16 min from east to west side. But watch out for potholes since the city of Lawton doesn’t take care of the streets. The lights are time sometimes perfect if you hit it just right but be aware of people running the light thinking that rushing to get where they need to go is important and the their live and other lives doesn’t matter. Sometime the cops let it happen. "

"We celebrate holidays together at the park and all over the neighborhood. Residents bring horses for the children to ride as they walk slowly side by side. Barbecues all the time. We help keep majority of our yards manicured and cut during the summer months. We check on our elders here and make sure everyone is alright and safe. "

"People don’t pick up after their dogs. If there was a way to institute the necessity for dog owners to pick up after their dog then things would be smooth but a lot of owners just leave their dogs poop everywhere and it is a mine field."

"Traffic on Rogers lane is beyond miserable, mostly because everyone speeds, and traffic lights seem to be more of an option than the law. 38th and Rogers lane is deadly. Rogers lane is out dated and need to be bulldozed, with an actual bypass put in. Too much traffic for the size of the town. But Lawton public officials could care less about our safety. I44 is pretty good though. Once you get off of Rogers lane. "
