- Trulia User

"There’s wonderful people here, who don’t judge you for being a renter or owning home. Then, there are some who formed a clique to enforce some HOA-like policies."

"Uptown, Harrisburg is a diamond in the rough, that is going thru a current transition. Miton Hershey us opening a new school in the Uptown neighborhood. PA Archives and Federal Courthouse and now been added and a slew of great local grub, that you can eat and stroll by the Susquehanna River. Properties for sale are scarce, but they are a great entry price that you can have room to renovate to your liking. People are generally respectful and the crime(if any) is usually personal, respectively. "

There is also ample outdoor spaces with the green belt, Italian lake, wildwood park and the river walks all accessible. Community is highly commutable with 83/81/283 and the turnpike close by you are within 3 hours or so of NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, D.C., and Pittsburg! "
