Community Description

Teal Ridge is our newest community in Stillwater close to downtown and Oklahoma State University. With small cul-de-sacs, it's the perfect location for your new home. Residents of Teal Ridge will enjoy quick access into downtown Stillwater and I-35. Home to Oklahoma State University, Stillwater was voted one of the 100 top places to live in 2010 according to CNN Money Magazine. Stillwater is noted for its diverse economy from manufacturing to advanced technology with the largest employer being the university. Economic clusters include aerospace, agribusiness, biotechnology, optoelectronics, printing and publishing, software and standard manufacturing. Home to a number of annual festivals and community events held throughout the year, including the long-running Art Fair, Stillwater also has a Botanical Garden and Arboretum, several history museums, and famous venues like Willie's Saloon and Eskimo Joe's. Stillwater is where the genre of "Red Dirt Music" (a mixture of folk, country, blues and rock) got its start. Other places of interest include the OSU Gardiner Art Gallery and National Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum. The City of Stillwater Parks and Recreation Department manages more than 5,000 acres of playground, four 18-hole golf courses, 14 playgrounds, and plenty of places to practice the sports the college excels at. May offers the Special Olympics, the largest amateur sporting event in Oklahoma, and the largest event of its kind in the U.S. We are proud to build in other Stillwater communities, like The Canyons and Park Valley.

"Super easy. I have a 12 minute commute to my office. There is rarely any traffic. It takes me no more than 12 minutes to get there. There are multiple ways to get most locations. We like to joke about Stillwater traffic as it’s not anything you would consider actual traffic. It’s a very easy place to be a single mother because I can easily get from work to school to extracurricular activities. I highly recommend it here."
