"A lot of the streets have their own block parties. Halloween is VERY big in College Hill & many of the streets close down & thousands of kids roll through. You can easily hop on the free Q line for events downtown. "

"Easy access to everything and everywhere. It’s one reason I love Wichita and college hill. My commute to downtown is 7 minutes in rush hour. Few other places in Wichita offer unique living with great schools and neighbors with affordable living. "

"It is an excellent neighborhood for family oriented, a bunch of kids with their families outside all the time walking their dogs. One of a kind neighborhood!"

"We are the ‘go to’ neighborhood at Halloween in the city of Wichita. There are driveway parties for the trick or treaters as well as the parents walking the kiddos around. Very festive and family friendly. At Christmas we all put out luminaries as well as individual decorations. The park is the center of activity with the pool and walkways, very well maintained and a central meeting and social spot. this is an older, well kept neighborhood, the home I live in will be 100 years old next June. Many of the homes are well maintained and beautiful, each has such character."

"I've lived here for about 9 1/2 years. I love that all the houses are unique; no cookie-cutter homes here! There are a lot of local businesses within walking distance and there is an active neighborhood association. Halloween is a real blast in College Hill; the neighbors go all out decorating. It has to be seen to be believed!"

"I love this area! Right in the heart of College Hill's theater district, it has an awesome walkability score. The schools are terrific, including top-rated public schools, magnet and parochial schools. It is a beautiful area with the bus stop, hardware store, grocery store and tons of restaurants nearby. Love it!"
