Read what parents are saying about Warwood SchoolI went in to enroll multiple children into this school it was not a great experience we where told many and confusing things things and staff came off very stuck up and did not seem to care for any questions that where asked with special needs kids and came off very cross with us when stating most of the kids have ADHD and IEP. We went to the open house and still did not know who they where going to have for teachers so the just quickly showed us to all the grades we had kids for in that grade the class rooms where very bland and crowded.
Posted by a parent on 8/28/2023From a friend I heard this other kid hated her so much that he wanted to kill her. Or it seemed like it, but when my friend reported this to the teacher, they did NOTHING. My cousin would also get bullied and teachers would never step in. My cousin couldn't take it anymore, fought another guy and got suspended.
Posted by a community member on 4/8/2017The fact that your children can start strings in fourth grade is the ONLY plus to this school. On the middle school side, we had several genuinely good teachers who care and do the best for the children. The others don't bother to show up for IEPs and cave to the passing of children to to move them forward. Bullying is a big issue with the more popular kids being able to treat others badly with little to no consequence. My child there was never in trouble but was the repeated victim of bullying from name calling to assault of a vulgar nature. The school is very cliquish!!! The elementary side of the school is similar. The main difference being the lack of organization and communication. Constant calls from the robo caller that are pointless while important matters recive little attention. Notes home from teachers concerning outings and events were Never free of spelling and grammatical errors! Transferring in was difficult due to the cliquishness and the mentality that comes with that type of people. I fear I let my children stay too long and hope and pray the damage done to the oldest one's self esteem and the youngest one's academic career is not permanent. On a final note, the constant use of the High School, miles away, for every little concert and event is ridiculous and the hassle is compounded when the add alll of the county's schools to the same concert or event. This is as much civility as this school deserves in a review.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three children that attend Woodsdale and one of those three has completed Prek-5th grade and I as a parents have zero complaints the entire time my kids have been at Woodsdale. The teachers and administration have always gone above and beyond for my kids and I truly feel like my children are loved and cared for by each of their teachers.Parent Review4y ago - St Mary Central School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student from that school and having grown up and thought about my upbringing in that school I would NOT recommend mine/nor most parents kids to that school. My family had less of the average income as most who attended and there was a stigma in that regard, if you have different thoughts or opinions in accord to their faith (which the bible wants us to question and use our own judgement in my experience) you can possibly be outed as an individual. I spent most of my years there feeling alone and not fitting in due my differences so NO I wouldn't recommend this place.Other Review1y ago - Corpus Christi Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can imagine no school I would be happier to send my children to than Wheeling Country Day. The children at this school are the most resilient, supportive, and thoughtful I have ever seen. Teaching resiliency, at such young ages, is the single most important building block to lifelong learning there is. These kids support one another, they respect one another and the faculty, they communicate, they create, and they problem solve. And they love it! It is a joy, a true joy to behold. Send your children to school here, you will not regret it.Parent Review4y ago - Speiro Academy
