Even though I was unaware that they had lowered the GPA for the National Honor Society. I feel they definitely do NOT place the honor society above the athletic achievement. Teachers have lowered their standards in the classroom to accommodate those students who just sit and do nothing! The National Honor Society (faculty run group) has already LOWERED the minimum GPA for entry into the NHS from 3.5 - 3.2. Places athletic events and awards well above any academic achiev
