Mt. Vernon is a wonderful school with enthusiastic teachers and a great principal. This school far exceeds any of the other elementary schools in the area! We bus our child out of her regular school zone to attend Mt. Vernon because we think so highly of the principal and teachers at this school!

I have a Granddaughter attending Mount Vernon Elementary and she has went there the last 4 years. I am so sad to see her have to go to Philippi Middle School next year. Mt. Vernon is a wonderful school the teachers and Principal are top notch and she get so much one on one. Purchasing my home in the
