I don’t like it it is super terrible

Many of the positive reviews for this school reflect the leadership of a former principal who was truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the current administration is a very different story. The principal and secretary are unapproachable, dismissive, and, in my experience, even bullying toward parents. There’s a clear message that families are not welcome as active participants in their children’s education.That said, the teachers continue to do a wonderful job and clearly care about their students. It’s unfortunate that their efforts are overshadowed by an administration that creates a toxic and unwelcoming environment for parents.

Weberwood Elementary is a National School of Excellence as well as a WV Blue Ribbon School . It has been recognized for many years as one of the best in the state of WV. The staff at Weberwood is second to none!!! They encourage not only the above normal education needs of the students but also the physical education of the students . The staff is knowledgeable, caring, demanding and above all understanding of each child's needs . They help each student achieve their goals. The test scores are always in the upper status of the state and consistently as stated. I love being a part of the experience but more importantly my grandchildren love it. Many thanks for a job well done!!!!!!

I've had to transfer my oldest daughter from Dunbar to this school due to being bullied and suicidal ideation. When I transferred her here, she excelled, and is doing a lot better. Been here for 2 years now, with this our last year. Definitely recommend this school to parents looking for a great school for their children to excel. Just found out they have PreK and I'll be sending my two youngest here.

I attended school here in 1965, possibly 1966. I loved this school.Im not sure how it is today but back then it was great. I loved my teacher who was a nun and although I can't remember her name I really loved her .
