You'll often find kids getting bullied, teachers have a obvious preference of which gender to support with assignments. Unless you're female, you'll be told "tough luck" when asking for help. Many students drop out and fail classes and teachers refuse to help due to this. When sexism is reported to admin, nothing happens. They treat sport players better then everyone else. They turn a blind eye to most things they do because sports is one of the biggest things the school has. From bullying, to skipping class (for non-sport events/practice), to not doing their assignments/homeworkMultiple times their medical lockdowns due to fights and drug-related overdoses. The schools response to these fights and overdoses and many lockdowns is banning phones, the way students communicate with parents during lockdowns.School also does not accommodate doctors notes and often losses medical notes. When a student needs a elevator due to a medical condition either with heart condition or making the students leg not usable or any other reason, with a doctors note and a cast on, often they'll not have enough keycards to accommodate and tell the student to try the elevator. Or they'll steal a card from someone else who needs it instead.

It's not often you will find a teacher that's willing to teach. Drug deals in bathrooms and other "odd" things. Higher ups making random decisions with no good reason. Not including plenty of kids in activities. Some teachers yell or refuse to help students. Men get their questions answered rarely compared to women getting their questions answered almost immediately after they raise their hand. Students as random points become hostile. All staff have lied multiple times to each student. I know that I am a student and it wouldn't be uncommon for me to leave a bad review but I am speaking honestly

They handle problems very poorly. They do not have the students interests at heart. My daughter is miserable going there. Bill Puynko has caused my daughter more stress and has done nothing about her being bullied. I truly am disappointed that the state would fund such a school that has made children dread going to school.

Yes, Superior is a clean and safe place to go to school pretty much. However, their tolerance for bullying, sexual harassment, depression, is awful. I was a member of the Special Education department due to being absent school for months due to Mental Health and their "efficient" way of helping me was telling me that I had lots of homework to do and that I should just do it. They also, then, refused any other accommodations while I was three months behind after staying in a psychiatric ward. I was sexually harassed daily and when I went to a councilor, they did not believe me because I didn't have proof. I was stolen from, beaten up, disrespected, treated like an option.Nonetheless, they focus too much on their appearance and ratings and numbers rather than on the students. By their logic, it's "it's safe to lose a few, as long as most graduate." Their teaching system needs improvement with caring about ALL students, not those with good greats.Teachers also favorite the students. Will not care about the ones who are suffering and praise the ones with high grades. Two years there drove me to homeschool.Superior High School has severe depression rates. Try to connect the dots, administration.

teachers are all for the athletes in this school but if your not talented enough to become an athlete then you are nothing but a burden begging to be taught and to learn.
