I've found that students at many public high schools in the mid-west are often called made fun of for performing well in class, but Sturgeon Bay High School provides a very positive learning environment where academic achievement is celebrated by your peers rather than mocked.

The staff, the atmosphere, the curriculum, the extracurriculars, and the people you meet there are top-notch and wonderful parts of the lives of students and parents alike. Students can participate in a wide variety of activities, including volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball, track, forensics, math team, the academic bowl, art fair, science fair, spelling bee, talent show, band, and the yearly school musical. I myself have done most of those activities and maintained a 4.000 grade point average at the same time due to excellent teaching and coaching. The motivation to live for Christ in everything is definitely displayed in the students attending as well as in the teachers. Students like me are surrounded by other Christians who encourage and support rather than criticize and bully. St. Peter's has inspired me so much that since kindergarten my dream has been to teach there myself. Other schools simply cannot compare to what St. Peter's has to offer, and going to school there has been the best ten years of my life.Student Review1y ago
