Best school i have ever been in . I had the best 6th grade momments there . Mckinleys 6th grade mandela house has a GREAT science teacher.A GREAT math teacher and a GREAT language arts teacher. BEST MIDDLE SCHOOL EVER!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by a community member on 3/17/2015I HAVE A GRANDSON WHO HAS ALWAYS DONE WELL IN SCHOOL AND NOW IN MCKINLEY FOR HIS SECOND YEAR THINGS HAVE FALLEN APART. WE HAVE TRIED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO GET HELP WITH UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS GOING ON, BUT VERY LITTLE TO NO COOPERATION FROM STAFF AT MCKINLEY. HE IS WELL BEHAVED BUT FAILING TWO CLAS

The day i went to register my child at the school, 2 parents were removing their children because, and this is a DIRECT quote..."they HATE this school!" (with emphasis added!) I

To begin, I have been a student here since 4k and have experienced many, many bad experiences. The teachers aids and lunch ladies do not respect the students. They laugh at them and gossip about them. The only thing about them is they attempt to get families together. They don't always teach students much of anything, and not to mention teachers aids will be grading assignments and change the students' answers to humiliate them. If you hate your child, I have the perfect school for you to send them to. Do not send your child to Wisconsin lutheran school if you wish for your child to stay happy and cheerful. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis so called private school is a joke.First of all they are way behind in the curriculum due to so many behavior issues from the students that get a free ride that it’s impossible for students that pay tuition to even learn or have the opportunity to learn. Teachers won’t address the real problems as they are afraid of how that confrontation would end up. Not to mention that they had no heat in winter for some time and were using space heaters in classrooms, as if that’s not a huge safety concern. Maybe if more families had to pay tuition this school wouldn’t be so run down. This school is disgusting in every way and they should be ashamed. Stay far away. Oh I almost forgot they do not have parent teacher conferences so you have no idea how your child is doing or what they may need help in cause guess why? They aren’t teaching them anything.
