Read what parents are saying about Pleasant Prairie Elementary SchoolMy daughter has attended PPE for the past 4 years and I wouldn't want her anywhere else. The teachers and staff are wonderful and are very involved. I love their character program and how they make it a priority to instill and educate the importance of good character and values, in, as well as outside, of the classroom. School is well maintained and secure.

Posted by a parent on 6/23/2017Three of my four children attend Pleasant Prairie Elementary. I am on the fence about this school only because of my youngests', experience with her Pre-K teacher who was terminated half way through the year. After her teacher was replaced she thrived and began to enjoy her experience at school. The incident that led to her teacher being removed was addressed promptly and in a serious manner. The school had the interest of my child at heart 100%. I am grateful for Mr. Gale, the principal at Pleasant Prairie and how he handled the situation. I've never seen a prinicipal so involved and caring. My oldest has struggled with reading through out the years. Since attending pleasant prairie elementary he has advanced TREMENDOUSLY.
Posted by a parent on 6/8/2017My son has attended the school many years and my wife and I are most impressed with the teachers and the extent of their efforts. We love the school atmosphere and what goes on with their character program. We also love the professionalism of the office, the principal Mr. Gale, and how wonderful the building looks inside and out. We could not be happier with the education of my son and we are grateful for Pleasant Prairie for providing my child a wonderful academic and character base for his future.
Posted by a parent on 1/26/2015I have never been so disappointed in a school before. My daughter is special needs, she has a form of cerebral palsy and nobody has contacted me about getting her an IEP or 504 yet and the school year is almost a quarter of the way done. She came home yesterday with a severe injury to her lips that also caused her tooth to be loose. Nobody contacted me through phone, email or letter from the school to let me know that she had an accident. If you have a special needs child I would not recommend Pleasant Prairie Elementary school. They don't seem to have the time or caring for any child.

They are rude and disrespectful, and the principle is something else and just as rude as the staff. If I could send my kid anywhere else I would.Parent Review6mo ago - Forest Park Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have attended this school for 3 years and my husband also attended this school as a child. The atmosphere is wonderful and the teachers are great. I wish they had a program for advanced or gifted students but other than that I cannot complain. It's been a wonderful experience. The neighborhood is really nice too!Parent Review6y ago - Whittier Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and staff at this school are phenomenal. They're engaged with students, nonjudgmental, patient, and well-informed on educational methods and research. One of my children needed special education services for speech therapy, and the quality of the IEP/education is top-notch. I can't say enough good things about this school.Parent Review6y ago - Charles Nash Elementary School
