St. Joan of Arc Elementary School

A great school because of excellent leadership. The principal Mr. Stuckey (stoo-kee) is all about the kids and their learning and experience. He’s not political which is a breath of fresh air. He makes decisions based upon the stiludents best interest. He helps with every aspect of the school. He goes above and beyond. The teachers follow suit. Nearly all of the teachers we have encountered seem to love teaching. I highly recommend this school. Please be a part of the positive culture if you plan to send your little ones. We need more of it.

If you want a nice 4K teacher then don’t put your child in Cushing. She is not only short with the parents but my child came home crying complaining of her teacher being “naughty” all the time.

The current principal, Chad, is ruining the school. He is a relic full of ego and just looking to bolster himself. He doesn’t care about the students nor the teachers. He doesn’t engage with students nor listen to parent concerns. He speaks poorly of the teachers and treats them inappropriately. He seems to be actively trying to dismantle arts programs and any special events for the kids. Hopefully he gets the next job he interviews for since he’s already been trying to leave.

I graduated in 2013, and I must say, the class sizes really made it personal and friendly! I loved that my friends were like my brothers and sisters! the teachers were great in any school grade, and the curriculum really challenged me and inspired me to be who I am today.

Lake Country Christian Academy is where my grandchildren attend and have attended since Kindergarten. It is an amazing school with high expectations both academically and spiritually. The teachers are caring and helpful and truly want the kids to succeed. All 3 of the kids are involved in some sport or program other than academics. All 3 excel. The focus on the children from the principal to the teachers is total. My grandchildren are proud of LCCA. I am thankful that their parents (my daughter and son-in-law) decided to send them there. Most of all, I thank our Lord for this great school.

I know my children are in great hands!

Ultra progressive indoctrination. Poor scores on AP and college exams without significant outside tutoring as HS focuses only on activism. Many “heads” of upper school in last few years, high turnover of students. Preparing kids to advocate for socialism begins in lower school. Confusing gender doctrines.
