Sherman Elementary

This place made my daughter scared of going to school because of the teachers. They called me over some gum saying that she spitted it out. I was in a meeting about I almost got fired because she would not stop calling until I picked up the phone. This school is bad the kids swear at you and it is so dirty and the principle Ms. Richardson is so annoying and so confusing.

We have been part of French Immersion for 6 years now and it has been a great school for my family. My 3 kids are speaking French and enjoy it tremendously! We value this school in many ways. I only have good things to say about my experience here. If you are looking for a school with fantastic teachers, great after school programs, and parent involvement, this is the place for you.

The Jewish religious education is very traditional with an emphasis on rote text knowledge. The religious teachers are enthusiastic and committed to their craft. In the upper grades, especially amongst the older boys, there are often significant behavioral and academic issues that are not systematically addressed. Secular subjects are sometimes taught by teachers with little or no subject matter background. Interestingly many of the issues at this school are not disimiliar to those commented on by parents at the Salaam School.

My son has been at this school since k-4,now he is in the 3rd grade. He has had wonderful teachers and he learned a lot.

The people in the office are rude. They show favoritism to students whom have been there longer. I seen multiple old good reviews from several yrs ago, but here’s a real and most recent. Think twice before sending your child here.

Mount Calvary Lutheran School is an excellent school by any measure. An outstanding principal and quality faculty set high standards for learning in a safe and nursing setting. The new school addition is first-rate. The school and church are mutually supportive.
