Unfortunately, the principal( like many in MPS) has neither the skills nor expertise to do their job. They could never manage a classroom. The admin ,for the most part, is insulated and mostly concerned with keeping those 100K+ jobs. Violence, disrespect, and disruption by students and parents ,is met with: What could you as a teacher have done differently? Or, “ The student is Special Ed and has an IEP. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen the school first started they seemed unorganized, since then I wish I could say it's improved. Every year as many new teachers walk in the door, some stay to complete the year but several have left mid year. I feel bad for the children. How are they expected to succeed when the good teachers are leaving for who knows what reason and all the teachers who are simply there for a paycheck are the only support system theses children have, unfortunately it's disappointing to see that right off the bat the 1st 5 years of children's lives are being negatively impacted w/ the lack of caring staff and the growth of teachers who simply to care enough.Parent Review6y ago
