Read what parents are saying about North Middle SchoolStudents feel very welcome in the school and classrooms! Awesome teachers and staff throughout the building! Definitely would recommend to others.
Posted by a parent on 7/20/2021The school does a great job at welcoming and embracing new 6th grade students each year, has many activities and programs in place for leadership, student to student mentoring, promoting kindness. This school offers a WIDE variety of clubs and activities, sports, extra curriculuar activities, and those teams/groups are very successful in this area. The school boasts a strong curriculum with very effective teachers.
Posted by a parent on 3/26/2018Middle school can be a difficult transition for many students; I know it was for me! I worried about my child heading to this large school from our comfy little elementary school. Thankfully, she has thrived! The District did an excellent job preparing our 5th graders for North Middle School and the teachers genuinely care about their students. My daughter loves the large, diverse offering of classes and extra-curricular activities. She also enjoys having a bit more freedom and independence. NMS does a great job allowing the kids to spread their wings while keeping a watchful eye on them.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been at County Line for 5 years and has had an extraordinary experience. The teachers are passionate about what they do, the school does a lot of neat events (marathon, festivals, concerts, carnival) and the Principal is involved and engaged. Even the bus drivers are amazing. I sincerely thought our Germantown schools were 9/10 ... and I knowbmy friends and neighbors feel the same. Dont let these ratings deter you from a great experience.Parent Review1y ago - Benjamin Franklin Elementary And Early Learning Ce

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was absolutely outraged when the district changed our elementary school to Shady Lane. I had heard some pretty unflattering things about the school in the early 2000s when my son was in kindergarten, and I was absolutely relieved when he was assigned to Ben Franklin. Now fast-forward 12 years, and I have my little girl in the same school district - only her school was Shady Lane. Naturally, I started purchasing flashcards and workbooks to make up for what I believed would be a deficit in teaching, and I agonized over 100 different things that could go wrong in a school with such a crummy rep. I also should mention that we are a mixed-race family. We had had a bad experience with an incredibly racist teacher 9 years ago in this same school district (I should mention that she was dealt with harshly and swiftly by the administration). This meant that I had the additional worry about how my child would be treated when no one is looking. Well, I have to tell you it was all for naught. With a new Superintendent and a new Principal, heck, even an update to the actual school building - the experience has been nearly perfect. My daughter is happy and has adjusted well to her first year in kindergarten. And she loves her teacher. My only complaint was the lack of communication (I had called about testing and didn't receive a call back until after the fact) at the beginning of the school year. And since this is the Year of COVID - meh, I think I can overlook that minor slight. If you're at all considering this school, go for it. We are impressed with the changes, the staff's friendliness, the quality of the education, and the overall experience. Goooooooo Shady Lane!Parent Review3y ago - Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSt. Boniface School is more than a school, it is a loving community where students and families make lifelong friends. My daughter graduated from St. Boniface and I have the privilege of being the art teacher! We credit St. Boniface with excellence in education laying the foundation for my daughter to graduate from a prestigious college with the highest honors. The teachers at our school care for each student's development academically, spiritually, and emotionally, concentrating on each student's needs as an individual. As a testament to our school community, our alumni frequently return to visit and help in the classroom or school activities!Teacher Review9mo ago - St. Mary Parish School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school! The classes may be small, but small classes are like having a big family! Rather than going to a public school this private school is amazing! The teachers are phenomenal! St. Marys has so many fun family events you can participate in. I definitely recommend!Other Review10mo ago
