Dedicated teachers who are active outside of the school day in school events. Small class sizes (about 16 kids per class). Fantastic, caring, fun principal who lives in the community. LOTS of extra help for kids who need it (reading specialists, math interventionists, aides). Kids get art, PE, music

Faculty members know every student by name. They are all wanting to nurture, guide & challenge each child. Seems to be a high percentage of eager-to-learn (bright) students. Teachers are high-energy and seem to enjoy teaching. Although not very diverse, and no Spanish-immersion options.

Safe, calm atmosphere in middle/high school. Teachers go above what's expected to challenge and inspire kids. Community made up of respectful, committed families. Bus rides are long for most of the kids, which I don't like.
