Marshfield Middle School

I can’t say enough good about this school and the teachers that are hear!!!! Absolutely the best thing that has happened to my kids. We moved here from a smaller school district and I was amazed at the inclusion and the love that was received.

Overfull school (classrooms and the school itself are small, relative to enrolled population), overworked, overstressed staff. The class sizes are too large and the support staff seems overwhelmed (e.g., they lose important paperwork, fail to pass along messages, etc). I can't imagine the juggling the poor Principal has to do, but he too, misses a lot. The teachers we dealt with ranged from adequate to excellent.The continual "indoor recess" inside tiny classrooms was the tipping point for us. We opted another district school after a few years at Lincoln and have been very pleased with the new school (more field trips, more opportunities, more fun, happier kids).

Washington has very caring and talented staff who go the extra mile for students. They offer support help along with enrichment services so students get what they need to succeed.

Very disappointed. Instead of working with my young child, the principal decided it would be easier to force us to leave. They dont have the resources to deal with any struggling child who needs additional help.

Ecstatic that my son is able to be part of this school! After having a negative experience with a public school, we were pleased to see the immediate positive changes in our son's grades; self esteem; as well as attitude towards school and life! We have a new child, a happy child! The entire staff has gone out of their way and taken many measures to make sure that my son, as well as all other children there, have the best opportunities possible. For that I am thankful!
