This is a fantastic, Christ-centered school. They are big enough to offer athletics and the arts while small enough to be a tight-knit community. Highly recommended.

What a gift it is to have a safe, caring community surrounding them with Godly principles and helping build a strong foundation for life.

Posted by a parent on 8/3/2022I currently have 2 children at HPCS and one graduated 8th grade last year. My expectations have been surpassed. My oldest, now on high school, was so well prepared intellectually, socially and spiritually for high school. I can't say enough about this school.

If your child is not involved in any bullying type situations this school may be a great choice. It does have a strong Biblical background which we always found appropriate and life giving for our children

Most of the teachers have been here over three to five years, and the past few years they have been piloting a new course called “CAMP” which stands for Curiosity, Arts, Mindfulness, and Projects. It’s a great way for students to use recycled materials to be creative. This school is so awesome that some teachers decide to return from retirement to just work here! I’ve had to reach out to the leadership and support teams and they’ve always been supportive and helpful. Only two drawbacks to the school: the building needs to be updated, but MMSD is working on that with most schools. Second being that the gifted students program barely exists and the teacher leading it has an extremely high number of students to support. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMadison Waldorf School has taken my daughters from having such a hard time getting up in the morning, melting down before they get to the door to popping awake, taking care of themselves and their gear, and excited to be part of their classroom community. The classrooms are beautiful and have really thoughtful sensory friendly design in bright welcoming colors and natural materials. I love that the classrooms are screen-free and the students are engaging their whole self in learning, from times tables while jumping rope/double dutch, to annual class plays in each grade. Science is proving screen-free learning is more robust and I'm glad we can hold off the specter of AI a little longer.I'm learning how desirable Waldorf graduates are in higher ed, too.I love this school and surrounding community and I'm glad we found Madison Waldorf School.Parent Review4mo ago - Madison Waldorf School
