I have a son in attendance at this school and they have been nothing but helpful and supportive of him. He has an IEP, needs special education, OT and speech, plus he attends ABA Therapy in the afternoon which the school has allowed a special schedule for him to attend. He also requires some extra help with bathroom needs as he was born with a form of spina bifida, which the school had accommodated and taken care of for us since he was 4 years old. There is one special education teacher in particular that we love and supports our son with care. We would definitely recommend this school for special education but also for any other child.

Will never recommend this school, this school has changed my child a lot. Teachers at this school are mean and like to bring kids down. They’re the reason why my child has a bad mental health. The teachers have talked about my child, treated my child bad, and never gave her the help she needed.

My children were bullied by teachers and staff, my son has autism and has a hard time telling me about his day. I learned he wasnt allowed to read an animal book because it wasnt a chapter book and since he didnt pick one out he was given a chapter book in SPANISH. He asked if he mixed his slime enough but because they weren't supposed to be talking he had to wait until last to pick the color he wanted. My daughter was bullied on a regular basis and the teacher did nothing about it. Both kids developed low self esteem and mental health issues. After 3 years of that I am now homeschooling what they have gone through at this school is by definition discrimination

The personalized care shown to all the students is exceptional. It is a caring, loving environment that focuses on preparing our children for continued education after 8th grade. We have 3 children, 4K , 3rd and 6th grade and they are happy going to school and anxious to discuss what they have learned.

St. John The Evangelist School (SJE) has been an incredible fit for our family, especially during the transition from homeschooling to a traditional school environment. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have been welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring, making the adjustment smooth and reassuring for our kids and our family. What truly stands out is the strong sense of community and support that SJE provides. Beyond academics, the student life is vibrant, engaging, and full of fun opportunities that helped our kids grow socially. We couldn’t have asked for a better school experience.
