Parkview Middle School

Caring school, new principal walks the grounds after school talking to parents making sure the kids are safe. The teachers work with their students to help the do their best and there are lots of after school programs to keep the children active.

Awesome staff and great new principal. This school was a Bronze Award winner in 2012 with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Can't say enough about how wonderful my daughters experience was here. Very caring teachers and support staff!

I have 3 Grandson's that attend this school. My middle Grandson has been in speech therapy since kindergarten. His speech is NOT improving. I do not know what their program is, but whatever it is with their approach, is NOT working. Sometimes it seems like he is getting worse. Every time they come to visit, I have to work with each Grandson to teach them, different things, that they should be learning in school. Something needs to change. My Grandson has also informed me that other kids are calling him stupid, because of his speech. This is unacceptable. He needs more one on one, OR his Speech Theropist needs to change her/his technique, with him. We all do not learn the same. I was through this when I was in elementary school, I was labeled, which is NOR RIGHT. It all has to do with the teachers techniques. They need to realize and be conscious, AND ACKNOWLEDGE, when a child is struggling. Again, this is unacceptable.

The student/teacher ratio is unmatched, and each child is given the opportunity to flourish in their development of learning and faith.
