Evans Elementary School

Chegwin elementary school is/was a great school for our children. For families that are engaged in their children's education, Chegwin offers a higher teacher to student ratio than surrounding schools and provides opportunities and attention that they likely don't receive at schools with greater students per teacher ratios. The teachers at Chewin are wonderful.

Overall we love Parkside. We love the smaller class sizes and that the teachers we have had, have really worked well with our kids. Staff have been great at communicating with us as parents. Can not say enough about the teachers!

The teachers I've worked with are wonderful, but they are stretched thin. If you want something done, you have to go beyond the district to make it happen.

I have a child with special needs here. I finally don't have to fight to get what he needs. The team here is amazing. From the principal to the Janitors. They are all wonderful!!

I've had kids at this school for years. Now I only have 1 left there. One I pulled because they would not follow his IEP or provide a stable special education environment for my child. The policies and staff have gone down hill over the years. There are still a few good ones. But many are retiring now at this point. This school is over rated.
