This school is unbelievable levels of terrible, especially if you're a special needs student. It's almost like a prison. You can't do anything that they don't want you to do, and force you to do work without properly explaining it. Terrible school, only go here if you absolutely HAVE to do so.
Posted by a student on 10/6/2023The biggest problem this school has in comparison to all the others I know, is pickup is a nightmare not allowing the cars to pull up in the drive and wait for the students instead of parking on some side streets away from the school.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy four kids have all attended Dousman Elementary. The teachers have always been there to meet the needs of my kids. My daughter who is gifted was given many opportunitites to be challenged and have opportunities to excel. My son struggles with dyslexia and school in general. Similarly, he has been given attention to allow him to excel within his own capacity. Our two, now High school Boys, both thrived at Saint Bruno's and adjusted wonderfully to their public high school. The small class size, excellent teachers and staff, family oriented community, faith based education they received, set them up for success in highschool where they are in honors and AP classes.
