The principal (Greg Hartjes) has done a lot for the school since taking the job.The parking lot for students is a good 5-minute walk away, but at least it's free for students to use unlike

Posted by a student on 12/12/2013graduated long ago, but the teachers were great then - I hope they still are today. Surrounded by hard working families, it was expected that students would put in effort. Any failings in this regard were mine, not the fault of the teacher.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children go to Jefferson and we find it to be an awesome school. The teachers really take the time to get to know their students and even make time for them after they have moved onto the next grade. My son has some attention and focus issues and his teacher this year (3rd grade) has been amazing with him. Working on all different ways to help him get organized and focused.
