We have had nothing but the best experience at Huntley Elementary for the past few years, in both the general and special education settings. Huntley is a special place filled with a staff who really have the best interest of each of their students in mind. We love being part of the Huntley communit

Posted by a parent on 2/22/2019since Kendra vandertie took over as principal the whole school has suffered. My kids personally did fine because they are smart and were never bullied so we never had to deal with administrators. I sympathize with families who will ever have to interact with administration.

Posted by a parent on 2/8/2017My daughter has been getting bullied at this school for 2 years now and no matter how many times we complain or ask for something to be done, nothing happens. I've had meetings with the principal and she doesn't seem to care. Just sad. Taking her to a different school.

Allowing the district office to continue allowing my child to not be recognized or treated as he should is shameful. Individual differences are celebrated and children learn how to get along. Class sizes are perfect that we do not feel our children are 'lost'.
