Yacolt Primary School

We moved to get my daughter out of the school district as a whole

We love the community and dedication of the staff. We are safe and people are generally respectful of each other.

So far I very much appreciate all the people involved in my daughter's education at Yacolt Primary.

Our children have attended 4 different schools as they have grown up. Yacolt Primary is the best by far. Ken Evans helped my son when he was being bullied by another child. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. The teachers allow parent volenteers so you can be involved in your child'

The district uses a community learning methodology. They say it works for 75 to 80 percent of the kids, and are fine with the fact this means 25% will be failing. There is bullying on the buses, response from the principle was to suggest our son not ride the bus.
