Read what parents are saying about Crescent HeightsI am incredibly grateful for the all the teachers, support staff and principal at CHE. They create an amazing environment for all the kids to thrive. Our principal knows every student's name and knows the families. I have two daughters enrolled at CHE. My oldest was placed on in IEP and my youngest is on a 504. I had zero issues getting support to implement the plans. If I have questions or concerns everyone is always willing to have conversations and give support. Both of my girls are on track with academics because of the teachers. I know other parents at other elementary schools struggle to get the support they need with kids who are neurodivergent but CHE has always been great about creating equity for their students. I just love the school so much and can't imagine my girls any where else.
Posted by a parent on 12/20/2023We had been in a private school for gifted children until recently, when for safety reasons, I enrolled my 7 year old into Crescent Heights Elementary. This was the best decision we ever made for her mental well being after having been bullied at her last school. I veered away from public schools because of the stigma of not getting a quality education. Boy was I very wrong. My daughter is excelling and super confident in her abilities at CHE. Excellent leadership, staff and educators. Based on our past experiences, I would recommend CHE to absolutely anyone!
Posted by a community member on 6/5/2023Wonderful school and leadership. School goes the extra mile to communicate. Strong PTA.
Posted by a parent on 1/22/2022Three kids have or are going through Crescent Heights. Academics are a year ahead of nearby Federal Way schools. Fantastic music and after school programs. Great, approachable teachers. A far better elementary school experience for my kids than I had. Only issue is sometimes the "no touching" policy gets too strict and black and white (although this is better under current principal). Let the kids play tag!!!
Posted by a parent on 4/10/2018By far the best school in the area, great teachers who are involved in the community (coaching sports, running art and theater groups, etc.) You can not find a better Elementary School in the area.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey are teaching the children about being pansexual, transgender and non-binary. Then they teach them the made-up pronouns as they're telling the children there are more than two genders. Why are they perpetrating these lies? Why are the schools pushing propaganda and sexual topics? These teachers should be arrested for talking sexually to the students. You wouldn't let your next door neighbor talk to your children this way. These teachers should have to register as sex offenders. Then the principal, who I spoke to, lied and said they're not being taught these things.Parent Review1y ago - Green Gables Elementary School

He loves reading and his school encourages their scholars to read a book as a school special program. Teachers and staffs are very friendly and supportive for students and parents. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe ECAEP program is amazing. That team truly cares about the students and pushes for family engagement. We've been so happy with our experience so far. I also love the resource coordinator at the school. She is so knowledgeable and really tries to help bridge a gap for families. We've had a great experience at this school. My student misses school when there are breaks. I love that.My only caveat is that I don't think they challenge the students academically enough.Parent Review8mo ago
