Read what parents are saying about Bellarmine Preparatory SchoolFantastic school! Outstanding curriculum with stellar opportunities for independent research surrounded by a foundation of spiritual education which is profoundly lacking in many private High Schools in the region. The staff are amazing.
Posted by a parent on 5/7/2022Not worth the $18k. The administrators were not working to get our kids back to school although all other private schools in the area found a way to make it work. They are extremely arrogant in their beliefs that this is a stellar education. Even when they reduced hours and curriculum and kept the cost the same. On line was not challenging for the students and not much better than the free option available. I expected them to lead and instead the followed the public schools the entire way.
Posted by a parent on 7/31/2021Bellarmine Prep has been a great fit for our two teenage boys. As a military family we move quite a bit and Bellarmine was very welcoming to our family. As a parent, I have always found it easy to get in touch with teachers and the administration and they are prompt with responses. The school has a great sports program and many extracurricular activities. The school educates the total child in the Jesuit tradition. Students not only learn material, they also learn to think and formulate their own educated opinions on different subjects matter. Highly recommend.
Posted by a parent on 9/18/2017Bellarmine Prep is a fine school. We had three children attend and all decided to pursue college and business. Unfortunately the curriculum is very weak in business, arts, and economics. Students who desire to study in these areas will be very disappointed that they are not prepared when attending college, but the teachers are excellent.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I had other choices for Montessori middle, we'd take a different path. Since we don't, we deal. We'd choose this one before other options for the particular child, but we may choose other options for our other children.Parent Review4y ago - Delong

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFormer Panther here and now a Mom of a Kindergarten student. My whole family lives in Fircrest and both my nieces have also attended Whittier and are now in 8th and 10th grade. I was so excited for my son to start school here but it’s not the same as it once was. The boundaries have been revised since the opening of Wainwright and the demographics of Whittier have changed in a negative way. My sons teacher is phenomenal but his classmates have so many behavior issues that he’s not getting the full experience he deserves. Lunch and recess are a nightmare for him due to bullying and my once school loving son hates going to school. As I mentioned before his teacher is awesome but the school overall is suffering and it’s sad to see my son have this experience. It’s gotten so bad that I am transferring him to Sherman next year to get away from children who call him a little b*** h and punch him at lunch time. Whoever revised the boundaries of Fircrest did a disservice to everyone in the community, my son included.Parent Review6y ago - Stanley Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 7 kids attend this school within the past 4 years and unfortunately our family has not had the best experience. There are very few caring teachers/staff, parents voices are not heard when it comes to concerns/safety for our children, they don't contact parents regarding issues at school, they don't care about issues the students are dealing with, bullying is tolerated, staff members encourage students to try sexual acts upon other students during school hours if they're unsure of their own sexuality. The list goes on. I do not recommend this school to anyone looking in the area. Please do research before sending your child here.Parent Review1y ago - Christian Brotherhood Academy
