Valley Christian Elementary School

I have two students attending mcdonald. One with some moderate/severe speech problems. Both of my children absolutely love Mcdonald and their teachers. As parents we have been consistently impressed with the staff. All of the staff we have interacted with seem to care about the students in a genuine way. They go above and beyond the requirements of their job for those kids. The speech therapy services have been shockingly good. As we have an older child that also had a speech delay, we have experienced speech therapy at multiple other schools. McDonald's services have been hands down better than anywhere we have experienced. As parents we are beyond thankful our children were lucky enough to end up at mcdonald. It has a wonderful family feel to it and the staff cares about the kids in a way that truly shows. If you have the opportunity to have your child go here I reccomend you take it. You won't find better teachers and administrators anywhere! We love Mcdonald elementary!

Amazing. My daughter learned to read by mid kindergarten

My child has been going to this school for 4 years now. They have been bullied constantly every year, and it got so bad last year that my child was getting physically pushed to the ground, punched and kicked almost daily. When my child would tell the supervisors, they said they would handle it but then do nothing. My child then went to the teacher and she also did nothing. We addressed the issue with the teacher and she blamed us, said our child was overreacting, and asked if there was something going on at home! We then went to the principal and she had no idea that the physical abuse from constant bullying was going on and she said she would address it. It did seem to get better after that, unfortunately it was towards the end of the school year after years of trying to get them to do something about it. We had hoped that maybe this year would be better, but my child has already been tied to a tree with a jump rope and whipped, and their shoes were taken off so they had to walk in the mud with just socks back to class! The supervisors again do nothing. This school is horrible at protecting their students, horrible at upholding their "anti-bullying" policy, and I find it ridiculous that my child should have to fear going to school everyday and come home with marks from getting picked on with absolutely no action being taken to stop it.

Kids have loved this school and teachers. They even have great things to say about the faculty and that their principle is the best ever!

VCS is a wonderful community of Jesus followers. We are grateful for Mr. Tabish’s prayerful and wise leadership. We are grateful for the administration and staff’s joy filled dedication. We are grateful for the teacher’s loving dedication.
