Posted by a parent on 9/5/2019When I was a kid, my mother transferred me to keep me out of Sheridan. I was terrified to send my son there. I couldn't be more wrong. The leadership has turned this school into an absolute gem.

The school just has lack of funding and well you get what you pay for. Private school can offer much more. BTW you dont have move to get into a different scho

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI say never judge a school by its test scores. We were looking for an elementary school in this system that works for our daughter and Grant is it. The school's leadership makes all the difference and it shows with the warnth of the staff and the outstanding and dynamic teachers. Grant is diverse which is great not an uptight school with the establishment of the South Hill. A disgusting principal who calls children tattle tales and tried to explain the difference between reporting and tattling while also explaining that children are at fault when they get bullied. How can you report misconduct when you are called a tattletale. No healthy food provided, the breakfast: was sugary, processed snacks wrapped in plastic. My concerns were not taken seriously by the teacher. administration never got involved in my complaint.
