My autistic daughter was ASSAULTED by a teacher and they did nothing to protect her or get justice. disgusting school. do not send your children if you want them to be safe, ESPECIALLY if they are special needs. So dissapointed.

Posted by a student on 10/9/2018We specifically moved into the CK school district so my children would attend CKHS. My boys both graduated from CKHS and are sailing through their second semester in college.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience. Awful communication problems. Don’t bring your kids here. Only one of the teachers seemed to put any effort into our kids. Started off the year like you’d expect, then by second day they told us the my had to put our kids on half days. Pressed us into seeking services, then by the time we received them they told us that there was no spots open for them, so had to seek out a new school for my kids. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBirthday invitation rules have certainly changed since my 3 children attended Silverdale Elementary School. We were able to invite our child's close friends and not required to invite the entire class to the house. This allowed our children to learn that we valued honest relationships in the safety of our homes while respecting all classmates. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school and staff, horrible transportation. If you move to the CK school district please make sure you give them a week or more to get transportation set up. Apparently the transportation office can’t look at an address and setup a bus stop without several of days and wasted time. Very inconvenient for working parents who can’t drive their kids daily. When questioned why it took them so long to setup child transportation and what would happen if I didn’t have a way to transport my child being new to the area I was told my child would have to stay home.
