I have 2 children in OPA and have been very thankful to be a part of this program. OPA has been great for us to have classroom support with great teachers, other involved parents, and a community of other students. For us it's just the right size.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've sent four children to Helen Haller Elementary School, including one who is still there now. It has excellent teachers, most of whom are very experienced and do a great job of balancing academics and social support/caring. The biggest problem with the school is the district leadership; in 2023 they unilaterally changed the school from a K-5 school to grades 3-5 even though about a hundred parents protested for months. Be aware that if you live right next to Helen Haller, as we do, that you now have to send your kindergartener to the next town over for three years before you get to have your child close to home. I hope they bring back neighborhood schools to Sequim someday - it was much better when we had a west side elementary school and east side elementary school.Parent Review1y ago - Peninsula Adventist Elementary School
