My daughter goes to school here and has an IEP. They are HORRIBLE at serving kids with special needs. They ignore any requests or emails, do not answer questions, do not give notice on schedule changes and they do not teach to the needs of the child. They teach to the schedule. There is ZERO out if
Posted by a parent on 9/4/2026This school, for better or for worse, has an outrageous amount of drama. Some of the kids here are... interesting (most of the kids) And the language and slurs you hear on a day to day basis is absolutely insaneBut overall this school is really fun and as long as you aren't in the drama I would reco
Posted by a student on 11/29/2025Doesn’t follow 504 plans. Doesn’t listen to neurodivergent students. A kid slapped me in the face when I was here and Jennings (current principal. Not calling her ms. Because she was horrible) asked me what I did to provoke it (and blamed it on me). Teachers can’t teach. Only good people are a few h
Posted by a community member on 9/1/2025As a parent of a new 6th grader my experience so far has been great. From day one, the teachers have shown incredible care and dedication to making sure my child feels supported, both academically and emotionally. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a student there now and another on the way next year- The community cares so much about the children attending school there. The teachers, educators, support and principal are always in support of the childrens needs. I enjoy seeing the teachers receive my child with a smile and warm support as they enter the building. The communication is always comfortable and easy.Parent Review2y ago - Tops K-8

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school doesn't just fail its neurodivergent students, it actively harms them. Kids who arrive struggling leave with damaged confidence and a lasting belief that something is wrong with them, when the real problem is a school that refuses to learn. The administration is astonishingly incompetent. Gone are the years of Mary Sherman. The people in charge seem so in over their heads. When families raise concerns, they get deflection and empty platitudes. Nobody takes responsibility, and nothing changes. If your child struggles in anything - good luck having it dealt with. If your child learns differently, look elsewhere. Please.Parent Review1mo ago - Queen Anne Community School
