Read what parents are saying about Evergreen Junior High SchoolGreat school for serious academics. Good exposure to robotics, math, chess, science and coding clubs.
Posted by a parent on 11/5/2022This is the best school ever in the world.
Posted by a parent on 9/17/2021Part of Lake Washington School District. The school board and teachers' union are not interested in educating students. We moved here because of the high ranked schools. The district will not return grade 6-12 to the classrooms for the remainder of 2020-2021 school year and has no actual plan to return students to school next year. The students are pawns and unfortunately, the superintendent and school board have no idea how to manage through this crisis.Kids in other districts have returned to school while our kids sit at home. If you have _literally_ any other options, I would recommend them over the joke that is Lake Washington School District.
Posted by a parent on 3/4/2021Very average. There are few teachers who really step up a lot and work beyond school hours to support those who are in need. But there are quite a few weeds to pull out.
Posted by a parent on 9/3/2019My son graduated last year. I can honesty say that Evergreen Middle school is first rate. The teachers, staff you name it are all highly motivated professionals which truly care about the kids. PTA attendance is high, parents care, a LOT, and the results are self evident. My son is now starting HS and is on the honors track. Evergreen prepared him well. Great school.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have two kids who went / currently going to Sammamish Montessori School. Specifically both of my kids were / are involved in the STEAM and Montessori classrooms and they ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!The school curriculum is very innovative, educational and creative, the teachers are absolutely wonderful and passionate, and the supporting staff and administrators are always there to help answer any questions. As parents of younger kids, we strive to find the safest and warmest place to ensure our kids grow up happy, healthy and curious. This school continues to amaze us with the various activities (field trips!) their inclusiveness of different cultures (celebration of Harvest and Diwali) and inspirational teaching methods that make learning fun! (In regular and after school activities) We would absolutely recommend this school to anyone who wants a fun, safe and inspiring learning environments for their kids!Parent Review5mo ago - Montessori Children's House

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family loves MCH and genuinely sees it as a home for both parents and children. This year the school has made some really phenomenal changes and upgrades such as placing a new head of school, that works night and day to make sure this school and it's families get the best of all worlds, an arborist, whom is a teacher in soul and such a kind person that the children love, to teach about the gardening world and animal caring, an art teacher and more. Generally speaking, the staff and management will go to great lengths to support and be there for the children and their families and besides parents having plenty of opportunities to volunteer, management is always open and welcoming to new volunteer ideas and ways to enrich our children's experiences. It is very clear that the people who work in this school care about what they do and are committed to making our children's lives better and full of love and compassion.Parent Review3mo ago - The Bear Creek School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur kids have attended Bear Creek since Preschool and Kindergarten, and our experience has been excellent. The teachers truly care about their students and that makes all the difference in the classroom. Teachers are also willing to work with parents to help kids grow academically and socially. Our family appreciates that faith is woven into all subjects. We wholeheartedly recommend Bear Creek!Parent Review4mo ago - Cedar Crest Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son graduated from Kindergarten after spending 2 years at CCA Redmond this year. We moved him to CCA from a great daycare nearby, to increase his focus on academics. While that goal was more than achieved, the overall package with all the extra curricular and social activities that he got a chance to participate in, has just blown us away! Kindergarten highlights included: he got to perform on stage in two very well put together productions and really enjoyed the experience of learning dancing with his classmates. He has worked ~5 monthly projects that culminate in poster presentations that have given him confidence and taught him the basics of researching different topics and presenting them to an audience. Apart from that, we got daily and weekly insights and quarterly progress reports on the work the teachers were doing with him without having to ask.The teachers and staff have been fantastic throughout our time with them. From the care they provided in helping get our son settled in, to the regular interaction and feedback from them on his strengths and improvement areas. We couldn't really have asked for better support! Highly recommend this school!Parent Review10mo ago
