Our experience with the school and its teachers has been overwhelmingly positive. The classrooms maintain an excellent student-to-teacher ratio, ensuring personalized attention for each child. My children, who have IEPs through the district, have benefited greatly from the clear and consistent communication provided by the SLP, OT, and educators.I absolutely love that gardening is part of the curriculum. It not only offers hands-on science learning but also keeps the children highly engaged and enthusiastic. The PTA, although small, does a fantastic job focusing on the children's needs and prioritizing their well-being.Overall, we've had a wonderful experience across all grade levels, and we couldn't be happier with the school's dedication and the care provided by its outstanding teachers.

Our daughter has some unique learning gifts and challenges. In areas in which she excels, Swan School teachers lovingly encourage and support her to explore even beyond her comfort zone. She has been allowed to be part of advanced classes, when appropriate, and has built great confidence and self-esteem as a result. In areas in which her learning lags (which happen to be social/emotional), Swan School staff offer her respect, patience, and accountability. This depth of care comes not only from her own teacher, but from the ENTIRE staff at Swan School! She feels genuinely loved and "heard" by adults who model and maintain this compassionate ethos throughout every aspect of school. Students care deeply for each other and strive to honor differences, rather than degrade one another because of differences. I am convinced that our daughter (very sensitive and unabashedly vocal) would be a prime target for bullying in many other school settings. As a family, we have nothing but gratitude for Swan School staff, students, and fellow families who truly value each student, including our daughter.
