Posted by a parent on 5/10/2018I have four children attending ble. One of them wither an iep. My experience has been nothing but positive the teachers in the life skills program are awesome. They attend to my child with care and compassion. My other child was delayed on his reading level and his teacher took extra time every day

The principal is ineffective at providing consequences to students who are causing extreme disturbances in the classroom, often rewarding bad behavior. The Special Ed resources for students are extremely ineffective, they would rather exit a student from the program than provide the resources that will enable students to be successful. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSO glad we found Cornerstone (CCS) - we heard about it through a teacher at another local school who highly recommended we consider CCS. We had looked into several other local private schools but were undecided due to mixed experiences/aspects. We were drawn to CCS’s academic excellence, Christian values, classroom size (+ teacher:student ratio), positive atmosphere, sports programs, and tuition rates. The interviews were well run and everyone there was very welcoming to our family. Now having been at CCS nearly a year, we are glad we chose this school - the teachers are passionate & caring, the student culture is incomparably kind & inspiring, and the school has a bright future. While it would be nice to have our whole family at the West campus (we have kids at both campuses), the school has a shuttle that saves us from having to make an afternoon commute to East (lower school) campus.
