The HiCap program is excellent. Most of the teachers and staff we have encountered over the years have poured their hearts into our children. Marysville schools as a whole get poor ratings, but that hasn’t been our experience. The city refuses to pass bonds and levies which only hurts the students.

My youngest is in a traditional classroom and she has enjoyed her experience at Pinewood as well. I have found the Pinewood families to be friendly and the staff welcoming. I recommend this

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLiberty!!! I’ve had, now all four of my kids there for last 7 years. We live out of the zone for the school, but they go to daycare on the school bus route. It broke my heart when my son (now in third grade) May not have been able to go there due to our new home. Literally cried. They are like family. Now sixth grader left 5th grade reading and math at a grade and 2 higher then average. Son left 2nd grade, last year 2 grades higher then average for both. Oldest, now a junior, has struggled since kindergarten. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kid has been going to this school for 4 years now. The teachers and staff are incredibly helpful and nice. My kid went from almost completely non verbal to very out going and well spoken. The communication between staff and parent has been great. I do recommend being on the PTA as a parent/ guardian and if possible, go to the meetings. It gives more incite on the schools operations. Knowledge is power.
