My son is currently in 3rd grade at Northlake Academy and has been a student there since kindergarten. My daughter is currently also at Northlake, is in 1st grade, and has been there since Pre-K. Our family has been extremely impressed by Northlake due to its (1) teacher student ratio of 2 teachers

Instead of lifting disadvantage kids up they take away everything from all the students to make things equal. A lot of parents have given up and left the school and it sad to see. The teachers are truly amazing and make learning fun and engaging for the kids. Academically, the students learn a great deal and are well ahead of grade level, which we really appreciate.The teachers are also highly supportive and create a very friendly environment where children feel comfortable and encouraged. The school does a great job of making sure kids are challenged while still having fun. In addition, students get to learn Spanish and Japanese, which is fantastic exposure at a young age. The school also offers weekly music and Zumba classes, giving children a great balance of academics and extracurricular activities.
