I grew up in the 80’s and went to tough schools. I never saw the blatant lack of caring, respect and incompetence as seen at Gordon. The staff are mean and unhappy, the teachers are allowed to not teach, the children are allowed to be cruel.

Gordon Elementary is an excellent school! The teachers are great. The staff are knowledgeable and supportive. The principal cares a lot for the school, very active, so hands on with her job, and I saw areas that improved in the school when she took over. The parents' involvement could be a little bi

My daughter had a field trip, and we came at exact 8:30 that’s the time they asked for her to be there, when we arrived at 8:30 the bus was already leaving!!!! I honked at the bus to stop but they didn’t care! The teacher didn’t care to make sure everyone was on board! This is so stressful and no one can do anything but to apologize now I’m stuck at home with my daughter crying so much because she loves writing and enjoyed the young writers conference! This is so disappointing from all of them smh.
