Not a great experience for my oldest kid. We ended up getting the district involved with a particular situation and they did nothing. The district as a whole isn’t what we expected at all — looking to move schools!
Posted by a parent on 7/20/2025Unrealistic expectations around recess time - too much structure for young children. Front office staff really not very friendly. Sort of a brain washing environment for students in general - everyone should be the same, act the same, think the same things.

I was constantly told that my daughter wanted too much attention, and that she interrupted all other students. I was told that my daughter was a problem. I was also asked by a teacher if I had considered ADHD.

The new principal is wonderful and motivated -- knows every kid, shows up at all the events outside of school hours. The PTA is incredibly industrious and motivated to improve access to enriching experiences for all kids. They host events throughout the year including a free book fair. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur son just started but already he is loving it. We homeschool so this is a 2 day a week option for us on days that I work. The rates are affordable and I feel that he is getting personalized attention. He actually comes home excited and tells me about his day and has enjoyed their nature walks to the arboretum and building an ant with robotic legos and making things run with some circuit builders. Lots of great stuff in the makerspace for STEM oriented kids like mine.Student Review9y ago
