Read what parents are saying about Bennett Elementary SchoolPlease don’t believe the ratings from 2013 and 2014… these are long outdated. This school is not a great school: teacher is not supportive and has no idea how to teach and inspire kids. I feel that my child is not learning anything at this school. After transferring from another local school where my child was inspired by her teachers to read through the years, at this school I have no idea what are they reading and what and how are they learning math. Very poor communication from a teacher. My child is not inspired about anything… I had to hire a tutor to help my child learn math. This school doesn’t provide no support to students and their parents at all. Only the attitude and poor treatment. No a good and definitely not a great school at all.
Posted by a parent on 4/7/2023my son goes to Bennett bellowed campus and he loves it there. though we are short in resources but the teacher Ms. Anderson is wonderful. They offer multiple after school classes with very least fees and also the PTSA is good. Various online apps were bought by the PTSA to help student with reading , math etc. My son didn't know how to read when he was enrolled in september in kindergarten but now he is a level 4 reader , it took only 3 moths.... and of course I thank the teacher and PTSA for providing raz-kids .
Posted by a parent on 12/14/2014My daughter is in 4th grade in Bennett Elementary. Its a very good school. Strong PTSA. They put lot of efforts in it. Really satisfied with the grades.
Posted by a parent on 9/30/2013We just had a wonderful year at Bennett. My daughter has learned so much and the most important part is that she is very eager to learn more. The school has done a great job creating a fun, safe and nurturing learning environment for kids. The PTA is also first rate with tons of parents/grandparents volunteering and provides lots of extra activities. For example last year for first graders we had toy makers workshop, kite making, trips to botanical garden and zoo. The science week is awesome too. Overall wonderful school!
Posted by a parent on 9/12/2013Bennett Elementary is more than just a school it is a community. The PTSA is strong and very involved. We've been Bennett bulldogs for 6 years now, and have four more to go!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could not recommend Sherwood Forest Elementary School more!! I went to Sherwood many years ago, and when I had to opportunity to buy a house in my old neighborhood, I jumped at the opportunity. The teachers and administrators genuinely care, and the amount of support offered to students and their families is unmatched. Obviously, we all hope our children never fall behind or need additional social or emotional support, but if that’s ever the case, Sherwood has the resources and the right professionals to be able to help your child. Likewise, if your student is advanced and needs to be challenged, Sherwood teachers and staff will meet your child where they are. The overall community within this school is incredible, and I have yet to meet a family that was disappointed with their decision to have their kids attend Sherwood. If concerned about test scores, don’t be. Sherwood is incredibly diverse in all aspects and your child will have the opportunity to learn and grow alongside friends learning English and Spanish in the dual language program, Gen Ed English, and those with disabilities learning in the fully integrated Pacific Program. Sherwood has also recently become a STEAM school, which will give students new and innovative opportunities to learn science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics that are unique to only a couple of schools in the district. Again, I could not recommend Sherwood more and will be so sad when it’s time for us to say goodbyeParent Review1mo ago - Bellevue Children's Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI totally regret sending my kid to this school. While some of the teachers (music, art) are very good, vast majority offer downright vile toxicity to the kids and parents. We were hoping new grade, new teacher would change things - but it has gotten order of magnitude worse. Expect to be told things like "in my x years of experience, no kid behaves like this" -- right from the 2nd week of school. This is for making silly faces & such. From 6-8 year olds. Learning here is a total solo endeavor, and it is largely on parents to help their kids actually learn. The school seems like a place to go get tormented and get complaining emails from. To make it worse, parents aren't even equipped to help their kids - for instance, in their 25 page homework, they add in pages of worksheets on topics they haven't even covered in class yet. And, guess what - those pages aren't even marked as such. Parents & kids are left to their own elements wondering what to do of those.Really - avoid this school like the plague. I cannot imagine a worse and more toxic environment for little ones to deal with.Parent Review1mo ago - Spectrum Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSending our child to St. Louise School was the best decision ever. Our daughter joined the school in Kindergarten and is now in the fifth grade. I highly recommend St. Louise School to any parent looking for an all-round development for their children—an outstanding balance of academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities. I wish the school had a high school program, too.Parent Review4mo ago - Cascadia School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been with Cascadia for 5 years (since Pre-K and have two more years to go) . We cannot be happier and love so many things about the school. The school focuses on the whole child. In other words they help with the kid's overall social emotional, character development and not just academics. Being a small school, we love the nurturing close knit community feel and the kids know all the teachers and students across all grades. We love the big playground where kids across all grades play, mingle and socialize with each other. The head of the school Mrs. Keeton knows the strengths and challenges of each student well and has their well-being and best interest in her heart. The amazing teachers partner closely with parents, share detailed progress reports twice a year and cater to the individual needs of each student. Our son has grown so much and Cascadia is his second home. We are deeply grateful to Cascadia and can't recommend the school enough.Parent Review7mo ago
