Lakeland Hills Elementary School

Horrific experience with this school at every turn. During the first 34 days I had seen more significant issues in Alpac than I have sending my child to public school in the last 5 years. There is a significant amount of bullying within the school. Staff is rude, pushy and under educated. Attempted intimidation of multiple parents that I have spoken with. Child safety is not a priority after school limited supervision is given allowing children to wonder off or be picked up by anyone without staff noticing. Young children are sent on the incorrect bus routes. The pick up and drop off system is an accurate reflection of the lack of organization skills within the school's staff. After arriving to school kids walk around the front of the school after picking up breakfast unsupervised by staff right next to a main road where they can be taken without being noticed. This allows any elementary student to leave the property unnoticed by school staff. There is no lunchroom. Any stranger entering the building to get to the office will immediately have access to students getting their lunch which is a huge safety concern because anyone is allowed through the front doors. I have never seen any school or childcare facility have such little regard for the safety of the children. I highly recommend avoiding this public school at all costs. Waver into another school, k12 or find a private school scholarship program for lower and middle class families. This school has had a negative emotional and psychological impact on my child and entire family over the course of just a few weeks with back to back negative events. I have never had a single bad thing to say in regards to a school previously. There are additional significant issues that I will not state at this time to prevent from being identified as a parent of one of the students. This school alone could drop property values in the surrounding area.

Terrible school. The staff are highly incompetent and inconsiderate. Especially the women in the office, they are toxic and unprofessional to day the very least. I am looking for alternative options for my child currently based on the terrible treatment we have received. Awful.

This school joked about suspending our 5 year old (who is on the spectrum) for the 4th time just so they could have a friday off. We pulled him out immediately to pursue fair treatment.

I love this school, we love all the teachers

This school is great in accommodating students from varied backgrounds. It provides a good learning and development of kids. My son enjoys going to school each day with enthusiasm.

My son was completely neglected and teamed up with another student who would constantly bite him and fight with him, and then my son would then get wrapped into the same mix of people. They kept him with the same people around the same people never changed it, never gave him the attention to succeed which is why he was failing in many classes, and his morale was completely down because there was nobody motivating him or telling them that he was doing a good job. The vice principal is a complete slob, rude, and filled with his own power and his tiny position. Safety is a no-go in that school as my son had repeatedly wounds bite marks and even other injuries with almost no reporting or no solution. The teachers are rude and ineffective and unintelligent. And their curriculum is about as low as you can get. I would never recommend this school to anyone nor ever let anyone go to the school if they ask me. They even try to pull a guilt trip about needing to know if my son was going to be enroll in the school and constantly hassling us for it, we just needed time to get him out of that horrible toxic environment. Do not let your child attend this school which is riddled with inconsistency, really horrible education coming of vice principal who is full of himself with a yellow Bronco LOL
