Read what parents are saying about Lake Dolloff Elementary SchoolI have had numerous issues this school year with lack of communication from administration when it comes to incidents that arise between students. As a result, I am not confident that student safety is a priority with the school administration.
Posted by a parent on 4/29/2022We have had to consistently fight for our daughters needs to be met, had to take our own action and found that the staff while trying, just can not meet the challenges. Bullying is not tolerated, but continues to happen. My student stood up for herself, but was not listened to on multiple occasions. Teachers year after year communicate problems only when it's a problem, not during at or onset where steps can be taken. Low overall parental involvement, led to no homework assessment one year because students just weren't doing it at home. Ended up switching schools in the long run.
Posted by a parent on 8/14/2017The staff truly put students first and do everything in their power to advocate for them. The school does a great job advocating for those students who need more assistance or interventions than just the general classroom so that each students' needs can be met whether it is in reading, writing, math or social skills.
Posted by a teacher on 8/17/2016The teacher turns the blame on my child too for a continual issue with another bully, just terrible.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEvergreen Heights Elementary has been a fantastic experience for my family. I was initially hesitant to transition my children from homeschooling to public school, but the staff at Evergreen Heights have been incredibly supportive and understanding of our cultural and religious practices. They have gone above and beyond to keep us informed and involved in our children's education, making us feel welcomed and valued. I am grateful for the positive impact this school has had on our family and would highly recommend it to others.Parent Review2mo ago - Camelot Elementary School

The classmates would always help each other and encourage each one of us. And the teachers help us with out learning.Other Review1y ago - Valhalla Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter started K in a different school in a nearby area (Normandy Park). This school BY FAR does way more for their students than her school in Normandy Park did; and that is saying a lot considering how expensive that area is…My daughter is going into 4th grade and has had amazing teachers each year she’s been at Wildwood. Even the office staff has taken the time to get to know her and our family. I also love that they offer free breakfast / lunch for all students and genuinely care. My youngest will be going into Pre-K at Wildwood next year and when we took my older daughter to get summer reading books the office staff went out of their way to also get some age appropriate books to give my future Wildcat. I don’t understand why the school rating is so poor, and honestly it is pretty offensive. This school is beautiful and the entire staff is amazing. I can’t thank them enough!Parent Review2y ago - Meredith Hill Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two elementary age kids have attended here for two school years so far and have done well. There has been an increase in enrollment since the pandemic began, so there is some adjusting that has had to be done by the administrators to accommodate this influx in student headcount. My kids seem to get higher quality time in smaller bursts with their teachers than they had in a brick and mortar school setting previously. They feel safe, valued, included and have been able to participate in weekly club meetings to help offset the to-be-expected lack of friendship forming opportunities inherent in a wholly virtual learning environment. Would absolutely recommend.Parent Review2y ago - St Vincent De Paul School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not the best. The teachers don’t do anything about bullying . As a person of color my kid been discriminated of her race race. And this school does nothing about it. This school does not care about physical health and not mental health. The teachers yell at the kids for no reason, even when they plead they’re not guilty of whatever the teacher has blamed them for. The school takes sides without even hearing the other side. There are mentally sick students there who need help , but what does the school do? Ignore it. We’ve talked to the principal about this many times but it’s always “I’ll do something about it” but nothing is ever changes. As I look through the reviews this has been going on since the early/ late 2000s and obviously as I’m writing this nothing has changed. This school is suppose to be “safe environment” and a “faith filled catholic school” but it is the opposite. And not just the students bully it’s the teachers too. This school is obviously very old, but that is no reason to keep this school water system dirty. My child has been coming home ill throwing up and with nausea. As I clean out her backpack I see her water bottle with gross thick chunks in her water . I ask her where did she get this water? And she said the school. They’re risking our children’s life. And also charging people more for not being Catholic, as a Catholic all children should have a chance at a good education. But I think I can speak for most children when we say it’s doing the opposite. This is the worst school I have sent my child to. Not only do they not care about physical fights and they do not care about emotional bullying. Even most public schools are better than this. The teachers get mad at coughing, sneezing, and other bodily functions. Please do betterParent Review1y ago - Overcomer Academy
